Diesel Truck Repair — Dallas, TX

Truck Repair

Check-engine lights, air leaks, a dead AC, worn tires, DEF faults. Bring your truck to our shop on Irving Blvd, or call and we’ll tell you straight whether it’s a roadside fix or a shop job. Serving Dallas drivers and fleets since 2011.

What Does Truck Repair Include?

Heavy-duty truck repair covers the systems that keep a tractor running and legal: engine and computer diagnostics, brakes and air systems, suspension, axles and transmissions, DEF, DPF and SCR emissions, electrical, cooling, tires and wheel ends. At Bawa’s Truck & Trailer Repair in Dallas, TX, we do it in our shop and, for many problems, right where your truck is parked.

Most breakdowns send a warning first: a fault code, a hiss, a pull, a smell. We read it properly, tell you what’s wrong and what can wait, and fix the cause, not just the symptom.

Our Story

Truck Repair From the Same Crew Since 2011

Bawa’s started in 2011 with a simple rule: tell the driver the truth and fix the truck right. Fifteen years later we’re still in Dallas, still taking owner-operators and fleets seriously, and still more interested in repeat customers than one-time invoices.

Drivers tell us what matters most is being seen quickly and told straight. So we explain the problem in plain English, give you the options, and don’t pad the job.

FAQ

Truck Repair Questions, Answered

How much does truck repair cost in Dallas?

It depends on the truck, the parts and the labor, so we won’t quote blind. Call +1 (214) 400-4228 with the make and what it’s doing, and we’ll give you a clear estimate and tell you what’s urgent and what can wait before any work starts.

Do you repair trucks in your shop or on the road?

Both. Bring the truck to our shop at 4700 Irving Blvd #200 in Dallas, or call for road service. Many problems, such as tires, air lines, filters, electrical faults and cooling or belt repairs, can be fixed where the truck is parked. Bigger jobs are usually better done in the bay, and we’ll tell you which is which.

My check-engine light is on. Can you diagnose it?

Yes. We run computer diagnostics, read the fault codes and trace them to the actual cause, instead of swapping parts and hoping. We can do this in the shop and, for many trucks, on the road.

Can you work on DEF, DPF and SCR problems?

Yes. We troubleshoot DEF, DPF and SCR faults, which are among the most common reasons a modern diesel derates or throws a warning. Call with the codes or symptoms and we’ll tell you what to expect.

Do you repair air brakes and suspension?

Yes. We repair air brakes and air lines, replace slack adjusters, and fix leaf spring and air suspension problems. Brakes are a safety system, so we check the whole circuit, not only the part that failed.

What can you fix on the roadside?

Tire repair and replacement, wheel-end and hub work, air brake and air line repairs, suspension fixes, mobile diagnostics, DEF, DPF and SCR troubleshooting, cooling and belt repairs, fuel system priming, jump-starts, alternator and starter replacement, fuel delivery and cab lockouts. Call and tell us where you are.

Do you tow trucks?

No, we don’t provide towing. We bring the repair to you, and if a truck does have to be towed, we can help with towing prep, such as pulling axle shafts or chaining up a damaged suspension.

Do you work with fleets as well as owner-operators?

Yes. We repair and maintain everything from a single owner-operator truck to full commercial fleets, with a focus on short downtime and clear pricing.

Which Dallas–Fort Worth areas do you serve?

Our shop is in Dallas, and we serve Irving, Fort Worth, Arlington, Garland, Mesquite, Grand Prairie, Plano, Carrollton, Lancaster and the surrounding DFW area. Call with your location and we’ll tell you what we can do.

What are your hours, and can I leave a truck overnight?

We’re open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM, and closed Sunday. Overnight parking is available, so call ahead and we’ll confirm space.
