Our Story

Built In Dallas. Run Like A Driver Owns It.

Bawa’s Truck & Trailer Repair opened in 2011 with a simple belief: when a truck is down, the person standing next to it doesn’t need a sales pitch. They need an honest answer and a fast fix. More than a decade later, that is still how we run the shop.

We work out of our facility on Irving Blvd in Dallas, and we roll out to you when you can’t roll in. A flat on a loading dock, a cut air line on the shoulder, a DEF warning that won’t clear: we handle full diesel repair in the bay and road service on the spot, from tires and brakes to electrical work and trailer bodies.

Today’s trucks are as much software as steel, so we keep up with current technology and industry standards. But what customers remember is rarely the diagnostic tablet. It’s that we explained the problem in plain language, quoted it fairly, and respected their time.

“I’m passionate about what I do and always looking for ways to improve and grow. I’m grateful for the support of our customers and the hard work of our team.”

What We Do

Full Diesel Repair, In The Shop And On The Road

There are two ways to get fixed: bring it to our bay in Dallas, or call us out to your location. Here is what our road service crew handles every day.

01

Tires & Wheel-End

A blown steer tire or a weeping hub seal shouldn’t park your whole day. We fix the tire and the wheel end.

  • On-site tire services: Puncture repairs, retread/recap installations, and full new or used drive, steer and trailer tire replacements.
  • Wheel-end & hubs: Rim replacements, stud and lug nut replacement, wheel seal leaks, and bearing adjustments or temporary repacks.
02

Air Brakes & Suspension

Air leaks and ride-height problems are safety issues first and delays second. We treat them that way.

  • Air line & hose repairs: Emergency replacement of gladhands, coiled air lines, cut rubber lines and nylon tubing.
  • Brake components: Brake chambers (Type 30/30), spring brake caging, slack adjusters, S-cams, and air leak isolation across protection valves, governor and dryer.
  • Suspension: Height control valve adjustment or replacement, air bag (air spring) replacement, and temporary torque arm or leaf spring securing.
03

Engine, Emissions & Diagnostics

Modern diesels talk before they fail. We know how to listen, and what to do when the dash lights up.

  • Mobile computer diagnostics: Fault code reading and clearing, sensor testing, and forced DPF regenerations.
  • Emissions (DEF / DPF / SCR): Aftertreatment troubleshooting, AHI dosing module service, DEF pump failures, and NOx, temperature and pressure sensor swaps.
  • Cooling & belts: Radiator hose replacement, coolant leaks, fan clutch lockup, water pump diagnosis, and serpentine or drive belt replacement.
  • Fuel systems: Out-of-fuel priming and delivery, fuel filter changes, lift pump diagnostics, and gelled fuel treatment.
04

Electrical & Charging

Dead batteries, bad grounds and flickering trailer lights are small problems that stop big loads.

  • Jump-starts & batteries: 12V and 24V heavy-duty jump-starts, terminal cleaning, and battery replacement.
  • Charging & starting: Alternator and starter motor replacement on-scene.
  • Lighting & wiring: Trailer 7-way plug repairs, pigtails, LED and incandescent lighting, wire splicing, and blown-fuse tracing.
05

Trailer Repair

The trailer earns when the doors open and the legs hold. We keep both working.

  • Door & body repairs: Roll-up and swing door latch, hinge and cable repairs, roof seam patches, and floor patch jobs.
  • Landing gear & frame: Landing gear crank, leg and cross-shaft repairs, plus mobile welding and fabrication.
06

Emergency Recovery & Lockout

Out of fuel, locked out or limping on a damaged axle — call us before the situation gets worse.

  • Fuel & fluids: Diesel delivery (20–50 gallons), DEF refilling, and oil or coolant top-offs.
  • Lockout service: Cab unlock and key retrieval.
  • Axle & drivetrain recovery: Pulling axle shafts for towing prep, or temporary chain-ups for damaged suspensions and axles.

Straight Talk: We Don’t Provide Tow Service

We’re a repair crew, not a tow company. The good news is that many breakdowns can be fixed right where the truck sits. And if a truck does need a tow, we can help with the prep, like pulling axle shafts or chaining up a damaged suspension.
