What Does Preventive Maintenance Include?
Preventive maintenance is the scheduled inspection and servicing that keeps a truck or trailer from failing when it matters: at the shipper’s dock, on I-45 or on the way to a delivery. It usually covers fluids and filters, belts and hoses, brakes, tires and wheel ends, lights, suspension and a check of the codes the truck has stored.
The goal is simple. Catch the worn belt, the weeping seal or the thin brake lining while it is still a small, planned repair. How often depends on your miles, your loads and the manufacturer’s guidance, and we will help you set a schedule that fits how you run.
Our Story
Small Repairs Beat Big Breakdowns
Bawa’s has been keeping trucks and trailers running in Dallas since 2011. We see the cost of skipped maintenance every week: a failed hose, a seized brake, a blown tire that could have been caught a few hundred miles earlier.
Drivers and fleets bring their units in so we can find those things first. We tell you what we see, what to fix now and what can wait, and you decide.
