What Is Truck AC Repair?
Truck AC repair means finding out why the cab or sleeper isn’t blowing cold, then fixing the part behind it. On a semi that’s usually refrigerant lost through a leak, a compressor that won’t engage, a blocked condenser, a weak blower or a fault in the AC wiring. In a Dallas summer a dead AC stops being a comfort problem fast. It becomes a driver who can’t rest and a truck that can’t run its hours.
Our Story
Cold Cabs Since 2011
Bawa’s has been repairing trucks and trailers in Dallas since 2011, and AC work comes through our bay every summer. We check the whole system before we add refrigerant, so you’re not back next week with the same warm air. You hear what we found and what it costs before any work starts.

FAQ
Truck AC Repair Questions, Answered
How do I know my truck AC needs repair?
Warm or weak air, AC that cools and then quits, a compressor clicking on and off, a new noise when the AC runs, or oil around the AC lines. If it gets a little weaker every week, there is usually a leak.
Can you just recharge my truck AC?
We can, but we check for leaks first. If the refrigerant got low, it went somewhere. Topping it off without fixing the leak means paying for the same charge again.
Do you fix sleeper cab AC?
Yes. We work on sleeper AC as well as the main cab system, including the blowers and controls.
How much does truck AC repair cost?
It depends on what failed. A leak at a fitting costs far less than a compressor. We test the system first and give you the price before any work starts.
How long does truck AC repair take?
It depends on the problem and whether parts need to be ordered. We tell you the timeline when we give you the estimate.
